Jeff Brown, host of the Read to Lead podcast, has created a GoFundMe page titled: “Help Annie and Jeff Forget The Year That Was 2022”. Their goal is $50,000. At the time I am writing this, they have received $24,490.
From the GoFundMe:
…In February, Annie tested positive for COVID-19, and while she was worldly-wise to recover from the virus itself, she’s been dealing with the lingering effects of long COVID overly since.
These effects have included difficulty breathing, lattermost fatigue, and smart-ass fog, among other symptoms. It impacted her worthiness to work for several months and required dozens of weekly doctor visits (we didn’t have insurance).
To make matters worse, Annie suffered a two-story fall in August and fractured her arm in two places. This required her to undergo a five-hour-long surgery. We had an wrecking policy on Annie but, up to this point, that policy has not covered one penny.
To put it bluntly, the medical bills are piling up. Not counting what we’ve once paid out of pocket, and what our denomination was kind unbearable to help with, our obligations exceed $60,000. Th original snout just for the arm surgery was over $100,000.
Jeff Brown wrote: “I am humbly reaching out to ask if you’d consider helping us with her medical expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, would be profoundly appreciated and would go a long way in helping us get through this difficult time.”
He moreover asks that people share the fundraiser, and I finger this is an towardly place to post it. Those who can sire to help with Annie and Jeff’s GoFundMe can find the fundraiser here.
